<p>Les tortues marines sont menacées de disparition dans le monde entier. Leurs œufs sont menacés par les insectes, les crabes, les varans, les mangoustes, les chiens et les oiseaux lors de l’incubation des œufs. Les nouveaux nés sont la proie des oiseaux dans leur course du nid à l’eau, puis par des poissons carnivores de leur arrivée dans la mer jusqu’à ce qu’elles atteignent l’âge adulte. Dès lors leur taille importante fera que leurs seuls prédateurs seront les gros requins et les orques. Ainsi, on estime que sur une centaine d’œufs, seul une tortue atteindra l’âge de se reproduire à son tour [&#8230;]</p>
<p>Terminés les ragouts ou brochettes de tortues. La raison ? Un partenariat avec les pêcheurs du Kouilou. Ceux qui capturent accidentellement une tortue dans leurs filets s’engagent à la relâcher. En échange, l’association leur fournit du fil et des aiguilles pour réparer les trous causés par l’animal. L’opération rencontre un écho positif auprès des pêcheurs et pas moins d’une centaine de tortues est relâchée chaque mois</p></blockquote>
